today, for the second day in a row, i had a burrito blowout. just as they were wrapping it up and sealing it with a kiss, the side exploded. so, they dumped the contents into a new tortilla. this is fine by me. i get a little less food, which is probably ok.

also, yesterday when i asked for chicken my order was passed down the line as “gallina” which i know to mean “chicken” but specifically female chicken. i wonder how much chipotle chicken is gallina as opposed to gallo (rooster). and further, why have i always learned “pollo” as the word for chicken until my trip to central america this summer when i heard gallina (and drank gallo).
