Good times with my old college friends Cam and Ariel. We discussed the finer points of Chipotle’s history and of this particular restaurant within that history. They loved it (naturally).

I ate with my boyfriend in law (aka my sister-in-law’s boyfriend).
It is always nice to get some dude time.

From looking at the receipt I noticed that this was order #204. I wonder if these are sequential for the whole day or sequential by the “host” (in this case, Rosalba). I’ll have to keep an eye on these numbers in the future.
walk to get your burrito
The line was 25 people long in front of us and it took 445 seconds for us to finish paying or 20 seconds per person. That’s fast! And, the total time of 7 minutes is pretty reasonable. I know I’ve waited longer than that during the lunch rush at McDonalds or Burger King or other “quick serve” restaurants.
I tagged this post with “metrics” so that I can start keeping track of different metrics like the “time to serve the line.”
Also, we walked to this restaurant from the new office at 10th and Acoma.

Today there was a line to the door and I was curious how long it takes them to handle it. So, I time it. 15 people in front of me took 4 minutes and 19 seconds to handle. 259 seconds / 15 people = 17 seconds per person. Not bad! Total time from door to paid for my food of under 5 minutes - I feel like that’s totally reasonable.
Well done, folks.
