From looking at the receipt I noticed that this was order #204. I wonder if these are sequential for the whole day or sequential by the “host” (in this case, Rosalba). I’ll have to keep an eye on these numbers in the future.

Ok, this burrito was order #298 for the day. Which seems about right.

The line was 25 people long in front of us and it took 445 seconds for us to finish paying or 20 seconds per person. That’s fast! And, the total time of 7 minutes is pretty reasonable. I know I’ve waited longer than that during the lunch rush at McDonalds or Burger King or other “quick serve” restaurants.

I tagged this post with “metrics” so that I can start keeping track of different metrics like the “time to serve the line.”

Also, we walked to this restaurant from the new office at 10th and Acoma.

after looking at some office space for nikki's work i had some chicken tacos. delicious.

it was also good seeing the crew at the restaurant where I eat quite often... (only 23 times according to my profile which seems ridiculously low...hmmm).

EDIT: Also! I saw Houman Iskandani working the line. Apparently the restaurateurs also get to spend some time serving up burritos. I've met Houman before but it was still cool to see him.

Glorious time on the patio at this location. I overheard two hilarious conversations:

1. Among some coworkers: “Did you know that Chipotle is owned by McDonalds”?

my thought: “Did you know McDonalds no longer owns Chipotle and that Chipotle started on its own”.

1. Among a mother helping her son prepare to go to school in Denver: “do you think that there is a Chipotle in Denver?” Son: “Well, there’s one in Boulder at least, I don’t know about Denver…”

my thoughts: “well, the original chipotle is in Denver, so….yeah…we got you covered”.

This might be my new favorite combo. The pepper on the carnitas in combination with the other flavors is so delicious. Also, not so many beans and rice to weigh me down. This was a brand new receipt phrase for me, which is always fun.

I got some nice photos of this location with my new camera. Mmmm...gadgets.
