sharing a barbacoa burrito on colorado
Today there was a line to the door and I was curious how long it takes them to handle it. So, I time it. 15 people in front of me took 4 minutes and 19 seconds to handle. 259 seconds / 15 people = 17 seconds per person. Not bad! Total time from door to paid for my food of under 5 minutes - I feel like that’s totally reasonable.
Well done, folks.
back in denver - barbaco happiness
after a few weeks in Spain coming home to a delicious Mexican meal was amazing.
interestingly enough, the lines were surprisingly small for a Wednesday at noon. The whole time we were there the line never got beyond 4 people. I don’t know if this was abnormal or a broader trend. My dad thinks it’s a broader trend, but didn’t have an explanation.
Tomorrow I’m going to the original location for a special tasting. I literally can’t wait.
Also, I hate jetlag. Could someone fix that? Thanks.
delicious chicken burrito
bug and i skipped out to lunch in the middle of house chores. house chores are necessary so we can move out of our house prior to the world spanish tour.
"The Usual"
The well-trained staff on Colorado Blvd at U-Hills now recognizes me and puts the bol together without any direction from me. Surely this is how movie stars feel!
barbacoa burrito for cinco de mayo
for cinco de mayo denver has an enormous turnout. me, i decided to go to chipotle. it was a great time, as could be expected….
there were a few folks in some random fiesta-like outfits that seemed to also be including chipotle in their cinco de mayo celebration.
chicken burrito on colorado boulevard
i read today that avocados are getting more expensive and they may start costing even more. they already boosted the price of guacamole a while ago, but that’s crazy to me that they are getting even more expensive. we need to get more farmers busy growing avocados because those things are delicious!
