My old standard was to eat at this location at the bar and have this particular veggie burrito. It was nice to be able to get back into this pattern a little bit today.
Colorado-Denver-333-East-Alameda
chipotle + more retail (starbucks) - parking = oh noes
This location shares a tiny building with another store. That other store used to be a famous, but low traffic record store. That worked well - chipotle patrons filled the parking lot at lunch and the record store patrons were spread throughout the day with only a minor inconvenience around lunch.
It seems that someone new is coming in and (yikes) it could be a Starbucks. This would be quite scary. Starbucks tends to take more than its “fair” share of parking lot space at most locations, even if most of the traffic is focused around the morning hours when Chipotle is closed. If this does end up being a starbucks or some other form of high traffic store then I think the parking lot situation is going to get rough. There’s not much street parking near here either. The only real viable option is to make a deal with the parking lot across the street (Blockbuster, Einsteins, some gym, and an empty space) since that one is often empty.
tasty chicken bol from chipotle on alameda
i kept looking over my shoulder for steve ells or houman iskandani after the last time i was there and i saw them.

vegetarian burrito on alameda
so, this morning i got a request to buy stock and i responded with a bit of a flippant point that if you need to ask you then you’re not doing something right.
well, the author of the email pointed out to me that he’s a really savvy guy. my bad.
i got a delicious burrito today and am now having a chai. what a delicious day.

On a hot weekend day after gardening all morning is anything better than splitting a delicious chicken burrito with your partner? I think not.
